1901年，整个巴黎都沉浸在对世纪之赛--巴黎-圣拉莫自行车大赛的狂热之中。一个名叫于勒·奥古斯特·迪罗克的法国小工匠自己组装了一种新型的自行车，在比赛中它能节省运动员的体力，然而为了研究新车他耗尽了家中所有，还欠了不少债。当地的司法直达官缪勒要没收于勒的新车。 于勒夺门而逃，闯入了正在进行中的自行车大赛。他兴奋地在自行车选手中推销他的新型自行车，但是各个车队的选手都对他不屑一顾。在缪勒的干预下，于勒也成了比赛的选手，第一个分站赛结束时，于勒意外地穿上了黄色领骑衫。缪勒为了鼓励于勒继续比赛，和于勒签订了免除债务并获得新车51%股权的合同。于勒只好继续比赛。虽然在爬坡赛段因各种阻挠因素落后，但他最终获得了大赛的冠军。 精彩视点： 主演于勒的演员中国观众都不陌生，他就是曾在《虎口脱险》中扮演油漆工的法国演员布尔维勒。本片拍摄于1968年，那时布尔维勒已经...
